RC Vehicles Word of the Day: ROAR
In some places, before you can roar into RC racing, you have to join ROAR or an organization like it or at least abide by their rules. It’s organizations like ROAR that help keep RC racing civilized and organized by coming up with racing rules and guidelines including determining what kinds of vehicles and modifications are allowed in ROAR sanctioned races. They also put together teams to represent the US and Canada in IFMAR World championship RC races. Similar organizations for other countries — such as EFRA and FEMCA — do the same.
